On 5th of September, 1992 OXFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL started functioning with fifteen students as a preparatory school. Dr. Sudhir Kumar Singh a great Academician,Mr.R.K.Sinha an eminent author of the Oxford series books, and Mr.P.N.Pandey, a great academician and retired Principal of Sainik School, Doon were instrumental in making the school a grand success story even in its primary stages as school got 100%result in the Admission Test of various outstanding schools of the country such as R.K.M.V (Deoghar, Purlia, Narendrapur), Sainik School, Military Schools, Navoday Vidayalayas, Netarhat Vidyalaya, etc.
The School reached the pinnacle of prestige and scaled the ladders of success phenomenally under the dynamic Chairmanship of Mr. Sudhir Kumar Singh. Within a period of 17 years, the school has achieved inviolable distinction of approx,3000 (three thousand ) successful students who got most of our alumni have competed in medical, I.I.T, I.I.M, I.R.S . National Talent Search Examinations, National Science Olympiad, National Cyber Olympiad, NIFT, etc. One of our past students, Master Kumar Gaurav was the All India Top Ranker in CBSE Xth Examination in the year 2002.In the year 2011 school got affiliation from CBSE,NEW DELHI, upto secondary level and again in the year 2013 it has been upgraded upto sr. secondary level.
